DuEls is a dance film by Grammy Award-winning film and music video director Jonas Åkerlund. It is based on a performance by Nagelhus Schia Productions at the Vigeland Museum in Oslo, choreographed by Damien Jalet (whose choreographies include Madonna's Celebration Tour) and the mercilessly powerful choreographer and dancer Erna Ómarsdóttir. In a series of short, visceral pieces in various rooms in the museum, the dance releases the concentrated energy of Gustav Vigeland's sculptures. Ephemeral, living bodies in dialogue with the inner struggles of Vigeland's immortal sculptures. (ImPulsTanz)
