Hungarian director Béla Tarr is widely regarded as one of the leading filmmakers of his generation. Thanks to the deeply personal formal language as seen in Sátántangó and A Torinói ló (The Turin Horse), he has established a new concept of cinema. His early masterpiece Családi tűzfészek (Family Nest, 1979) will be shown before the masterclass.
In cooperation with the Wiener Festwochen
Tickets for the master class are available from March 28, 2019 at the Film Museum. No reservations accepted.
