The Third Man Rediscovered

To celebrate the 70th birthday of Carol Reed's The Third Man, the Film Museum has put together a lineup of special events. To begin with, author Bert Rebhandl will present his new book Der dritte Mann. Neuentdeckung eines Filmklassikers (Czernin Verlag), which offers a contemporary reading of the quintessential Vienna film. After the book presentation, we will show both The Third Man and Frederick Baker's comprehensive documentary on the making of the film, Shadowing the Third Man (2004), presented by Mr. Baker himself.
