Mara Mattuschka's grotesque about the belief in authority and psychological defects, made in collaboration with Hans Werner Poschauko and Andreas Karner, consists of a hodgepodge of surreal scenes. Amidst simple black-and-white cardboard backdrops and using deliberately simple animation techniques, the film tells the story of a domineering teenager with a mother complex who uses the freedom of his vacation to suppress a harmless island people with his malicious fantasies.
