Collection on Screen:
Michael Pilz – Part 3
February 11, 2024
In spring 2023, we presented a selection of works by Austrian gem Michal Pilz (born in 1943) whose films are preserved at the Austrian Film Museum. In small steps and as part of our monthly series Collection of Screen, we will extend this retrospective, this time with Indian Diary – Days At Sree Sankara (2001).
Indian Diary – Days at Sree Sankara is one of Michael Pilz's core creative works, a film of rare concision and elegance about the handwork of – ayuverdic – healing in extremely concrete images flooded with light, with intensely incisive colors and exact in each glance that seems freely captured by hand.
