"A dromedary kneels in the desert sand. A lady in a summer dress with sunglasses and a straw hat, sits unsteadily in the saddle. An Arab slowly pulls the animal up, the woman's bare legs dangling in search of support. The animal only stands for a moment before the Arab lifts a foot." (Gustav Deutsch) This 8mm loop was made using found footage. Excerpts from this material were also used to make a video work of the same name, as well as for the film Kamelführer and the project "Taschenkino" (Pocket Cinema). (Text: Hanna Schimek/Anna Högner)
