NYC 1981: The City Jungle Beast, embodied by Scheirl, moves around on the terrace of Arleen Schloss's performance space Wednesdays at A's. Painted red from head to toe, playing guitar and eating cake, and surrounded by spectators. Arleen Schloss captured this performance. The projected footage was in turn re-filmed in slow motion.
