Mara Mattuschka
Mara Mattuschka (*1959) is a visual artist as well as a film and theater writer based in Vienna. 1978–1982 studies ethnology and linguistics at the University of Vienna. 1983–1989 Studied under Maria Lassnig at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (painting and animated film). 2005 Honorary Award for Film Art (BKA Austria), 2010 Award for Fine Arts of the City of Vienna. Retrospectives of her films have been shown at Anthology Film Archives, New York, Tampere, Tokyo, Barcelona, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Amsterdam, Wrocław, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, and Vienna.Digitization (2K) based on the original 16mm negative. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport (BMKOES) as part of the "Kulturerbe digital" funding program.
