This program examines the circulation of glances, gestures, affects, and fluids between filming and filmed bodies, between film and screen. "Sometimes bordering on perceptive thresholds, enabling that derangement of the senses desired by Rimbaud," as Michel Nuridsany described Claudine Eizykman's V.W. Vitesse Women, such films – mostly by women filmmakers – paved the way for other modes of perception wherein drive and desire intermingle, and inviting us to experience in our bodies the ecstatic impulses of images. (B.J./B.R./D.W.)
