Our supporting members have a special bond with our institution and their membership contributions help ensure that the Austrian Film Museum continues to rank amongst the world's leading cinémathèques. They make it possible for us to maintain the quality of our retrospectives, educational programs, publications and film restorations.

The Film Museum currently has around 500 supporting members to whom we extend our most sincere gratitude for their ongoing encouragement.

**Any amount above the regular membership fee (Valid since 2025: EUR 20.00 for an annual membership, EUR 30.00 for a partner membership) can be considered a donation and is tax deductible. If you wish to do so, you can give your consent after registering under My Film Museum (section "My data") or send us the signed declaration of consent (PDF in German).

 

How do I become a supporting member?

Visit us at the cinema and simply purchase your membership at the box office. Or go to My Film Museum: Once you have registered, you can purchase your chosen form of membership.
 

How can I find out about special events?

We regularly inform you about our special events, guided tours, and offers on our website, in our program booklet, and – if you wish – by email.
