How to become a filmmaker? And what might make things difficult? During the early years young filmmakers often are at liberty to go down new paths and develop a unique style. This semester will see the presentatioon of the latest films by Catalina Molina (One Song) and Florian Pochlatko (Erdbeerland) who have both been awarded the Diagonale-price for the best Austrian short film. The "Cinema Next"-series introduces young filmmakers and their works and is accompanied by discussions about what it means to make a passion into a profession.
