The seemingly harmonious life of intellectual TV-presenter Georges is slowly showing cracks when he is sent strange videos and cryptic drawings. As he keeps receiving more and more of those, he starts looking for the sender and has to confront with his own past in the process. Michael Haneke's psychological thriller combines the author's typical themes guilt, violence and the media with a critical dissection of social structures and the need for bourgeois France to deal with its past.
The screening (117 min) is followed by a discussion with director Michael Haneke
