Tricky Women / Tricky Realities

Animated films combine the everyday with the surreal. They can break down structures and build them up anew, create fresh courses of action and bring us closer to other viewpoints. Animated films expand our visual vocabulary and make the unsayable sayable. With the help of a series of short films, we will analyze and discuss from a feminist and artistic perspective how socio-political processes are represented by the medium of animated film. There will be no lack of phantasy and humor, and our main motto is: self-empowerment through animation! (tw)
