From Student to Feature Film

He left Salzburg for Vienna in 2011 to become a filmmaker. But it took three tries before he got into the film academy. Since then, he has followed his path with a steady and clear goal: first, directing exercises and small works, then music videos, and finally an elaborate short film that became a highly regarded calling card. In the summer of 2023, he will now shoot his first feature length film. Using the example of auteur/director Bernhard Wenger, we will follow the path of a young man who turned his passion – filmmaking – into a career. The filmmaker will also be present and answer questions from the young audience.
