Digital Humanism
Eno by Gary Hustwit
May 30, 2025
The first Digital Humanism Conference will take place in Vienna on May 26-28, 2025. Inspired by the Viennese Manifesto for Digital Humanism (2019), it brings together leading thinkers, researchers, and innovators to carry out a critical investigation of the development of digital technologies and propose concepts in keeping with human values, democratic principles, and social justice. (Michael Loebenstein / Translation: Ted Fendt)
During the conference and as a filmic proposal of how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing storytelling in film and cultural historiography, the Film Museum will screen Gary Hustwit’s archival documentary Eno.
With the kind support of Verein zur Förderung des digitalen Humanismus and the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF).
